Jay Z Officially Drops Hyphen From Name

Jay-Z has reportedly officially dropped the hyphen from his name.

Jay Z keeps the #NewRules coming, with the latest involving the spelling of his name. Hov is reportedly 'officially' no longer using a hyphen in his name, thus going from Jay-Z to Jay Z.

Word comes from Billboard's editor, Joe Levy, who says this news come from the label. However, Hov may have been attempting to drop the hyphen from his name for awhile now, because as people have pointed out, since the Watch The Throne days there has been a lack of a hyphen in Jay's printed name.
