The Game Promotes An Online Petiton For A G-Unit Reunion

Game leaves it up to the fans to decide if they want to see the G-Unit crew back in action.

Game has started a petition for a G-Unit reunion.

In a post on Facebook, the Compton, California rapper posted a link to the site www.GUnitReunion.com, writing, "Is there a G Unit Reunion gonna happen in 2013??? Let's see how many signatures we get!"

While surprising, the petition comes in the wake of Game's manager Dontay "Taydoe" Kidd stating that the two were working behind the scenes to get G-Unit reunion into motion. He said that it would be a business decision on both ends.

Even though Chuck Taylor is on board for a reunion, 50 Cent said that even a G-Unit reunion with just him, Lloyd Banks and Tony Yayo was unlikely. "Probably not," he said. "I don't know. You have people that go in different directions."

Alicia Keys Named Blackberry Global Creative Director

During its BlackBerry 10 launch event , CEO Thorsten Heins announced a new Global Creative Director for the company: Alicia Keys.

“I’m fascinated by technology. I've always wanted to work directly with a technology company,” said Keys. “I wanted to do something where I could grow professionally and personally.” Keys says she is going to be working directly with developers and carriers on the platform, as well as with other artists.

Previously a BlackBerry user, she spoke on stage about experimenting with other smartphone platforms over the past few years — she talked about being an 'iPhone Junkie' on Google+ just over a year ago — but now that BlackBerry has been "working out" she's excited to get back together.

Lance Armstrong s'en prend à l'UCI et à son Président

Lance Armstrong s'en est pris pour la première fois à l'UCI et à son président Pat McQuaid dans une interview, le champion américain déchu estime que l'UCI n'a pas sa place dans une commission de Vérité et Conciliation, qualifiant Pat McQuaid de "pathétique". Il estime aussi qu'aucune génération n'est exempte de reproches ou "propre".

S'exprimant pour la première fois depuis ses confessions télévisées à Oprah Winfrey à la télévision américaine, Lance Armstrong a appelé l'AMA, l'Agence mondiale antidopage, à mettre sur pied une Commission Vérité et Conciliation, mais où "l'UCI n'a pas sa place à la table". "Pat McQuaid passe son temps à se couvrir (Cover Your Ass). Pathétique", a-t-il ajouté.

L'Américain, qui a avoué s'être dopé durant sa carrière, plaide pour l'amnistie, "sinon personne ne se montrera, personne. Ce n'est pas la meilleure manière, mais c'est la seule. Aussi longtemps que je suis dans l’œil du cyclone, il ne peut s'agir que d'un homme, d'une équipe, d'un directeur. Il s'agit du cyclisme, et pour être franc, de tous les sports d'endurance. Lincher publiquement un homme et son équipe ne résoudra pas le problème. Je suis un bouc émissaire, mais je le comprends. On fait son lit comme on se couche."

Pour Lance Armstrong, le problème du dopage et de la tricherie existe depuis 100 ans. "Ma génération n'est pas différente de celles des autres. RIM change de nom et lance ses nouveaux téléphones BlackBerry

Le groupe canadien Research in Motion a dévoilé ses deux nouveaux smartphones, le Z10 et le Q10, dans une tentative pour regagner des parts de marché face à la concurrence, son PDG Thorsten Heins annonçant également que RIM s'appellerait désormais BlackBerry.

"Dire qu'on a réinventé cette entreprise n'est pas suffisant. Aujourd'hui est un jour nouveau pour nous", a lancé le PDG allemand lors de la présentation des BlackBerry 10 à New York, assurant que les nouveaux appareils allaient "transformer la communication mobile".

Le groupe a décidé de s'appeler BlackBerry car "c'est une marque, un produit", a expliqué le patron de la société canadienne, dont le titre s'est effondré en Bourse depuis cinq ans. "Nous nous sommes transformés, nous avons défini notre vision", a-t-il encore ajouté.

Avec sa forme rectangulaire, son large écran et son clavier tactile, le Z10 rappelle l'iPhone d'Apple, tandis que le Q10, avec un clavier physique, est fidèle à l'apparence traditionnelle des BlackBerry.

Parmi les innovations, la fonction "Balance" permet de diviser les données, applications et ressources des téléphones, selon qu'il s'agit d'un usage privé ou professionnel. "Nous avons pensé aux gens qui transportent toujours deux appareils", un pour le travail et un pour leur vie personnelle, a dit M. Heins.

Autre développement, la messagerie instantanée BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) permet désormais l'échange de vidéos, ainsi que le partage d'écrans d'un BlackBerry à l'autre.

Très en retard par rapport à Apple, le groupe canadien a présenté en outre une nouvelle technologie de caméra, conjuguée à un logiciel intégré de traitement de l'image.

"On a créé une expérience cinématographique", a avancé le PDG. La réaction immédiate des marchés était toutefois contrastée: après avoir gagné jusqu'à 6% en début de séance avant le lancement, le titre a inversé la tendance au moment de la présentation des nouveaux smartphones et perdu jusqu'à près de 8%. Il reculait encore de 4,15% à 15,01 dollars vers 16H05 GMT.

Tony Yayo Says G-Unit Was Better "When We Didn't Have Any Money"

Tony Yayo says money is the root of G-Unit's problems.

Though 50 Cent has cited Tony Yayo and Lloyd Banks' work ethics (or lack thereof) as the primary issue behind G-Unit's demise, Yayo has a theory of his own.

"You know what's crazy? It's like when we didn't have any money, things were better," explained the man who 50 Cent once said was taken care of in his will in an interview with MTV News. "When everybody got money, it's like things just went downhill, so it's like, I dunno, egos," he surmised.

Though Fif recently shot down the idea of a reunion, Yayo viewed it more positively. "I would love to see a G-Unit reunion. I would love to see me, Banks and 50 definitely onstage."

Yayo remained adamant that not having wealth was extremely pertinent to G-Unit's early unity. "When we were broke, and we didn't have a pot to piss in, we were all callin' each other's phones and that's the thing that just upsets me the most, and it makes me just want to say, 'Fuck Rap.'" he said.

"Loyalty is my biggest thing. 50 helped all of us eat. We all had mansions; we all had Bentleys; so if Fif is in a bad mood or feels a certain way that day, you just eat that. You learn to judge your friends for who they are."

G-Unit's last album was 2008's T.O.S.: Terminate on Sight. Over the years, 50 Cent has explained in many interviews that the lines of communication between him and his G-Unit compatriots have been severed.

"Freeway" Ricky Ross Responds To Rapper Rick Ross' Drive-By Shooting Attempt

"Freeway" Ricky Ross says that he's "not surprised" that Rick Ross was the target of a drive-by shooting.

Following yesterday morning's incident where rapper Rick Ross crashed his Rolls Royce into a building following a drive-by shooting attempt, "Freeway" Ricky Ross has spoken out on the situtation.

Speaking exclusively with HipHopDX, the former drug kingpin said that he's "not surprised" that the assassination attempt occurred because Ross "doesn't understand the street rules." As a consequence, situations like this take place.

"I'm not surprised that it happened given recent ongoings, when someone doesn't understand the street rules they get confused and incidents like this can take place," he said. "I'm still dealing with ongoing litigation about something as basic as using my name and identity, that should have been dealt with properly a long time ago. No ill will is wished upon anyone, but when you tell these stories about the streets you have to be careful. We covered it in more depth in the Power of the Name Rick Ross piece."

"Freeway" Ricky Ross plans to take the rapper and Warner Bros. Records to court this August in thecontinuing fight over his name. He previously explained that the Maybach Music Group leader has "exploited and misused [his name] since he went to prison" and "made millions off [of it]."

Mario Balotelli rejoint l'AC Milan

L'attaquant international italien Mario Balotelli quitte Manchester City, où il n'était plus titulaire, pour l'AC Milan, a annoncé mardi la chaîne du club italien, pour un transfert évalué à 20 millions d'euros.

"Mario Balotelli au Milan, le joueur passera demain (mercredi) la visite médicale et signera son contrat", a annoncé Milan Channel.

Balotelli, 22 ans, retrouve la Serie A après l'Inter Milan (2007-2010) pour un transfert que les "Rossoneri" paieront en cinq annuités de 4 M EUR, plus 3 M EUR de bonus, pour un contrat de quatre ans et un salaire annuel de 4,5 M EUR, selon les chiffres cités par la presse italienne.

L'administrateur délégué "rossonero", Adriano Galliani, est parvenu à faire baisser le prix du transfert, qui était initialement de plus de 33 M EUR.

"Super Mario", un des héros de l'Italie finaliste de l'Euro-2012, revient à Milan pour relancer une carrière qui a singulièrement ralenti à City cette saison, entre matches sur le banc, même dans la tribune, disputes avec son entraîneur et mentor Roberto Mancini.

Rick Ross Crashes Rolls Royce While Escaping Shooting Attack

In South Florida this morning, Rick Ross reportedly escaped gunfire from a shooter in another car. During the escape, the rapper crashed his Rolls Royce.

Rick Ross lost control of his Rolls Royce after the star rapper was reportedly attacked by gunfire early this morning (January 28). Sources, including TMZ.com, report that the Maybach Music Group leader was attacked on Fort Lauderdale, Florida's Los Olas Boulevard, near 15th Avenue, when another vehicle pulled alongside his luxury automobile before shooting. Early reports indicate that neither Ross nor his female passenger were struck by the gunfire, but that over a dozen rounds were fired by the assailant.

While accelerating away from the shooters, Ross, who is believed to have been driving, crashed his Rolls Royce Phantom into a building.

Local10 acquired a photograph of the wrecked car. The Fort Lauderdale station also reported that a witness claimed that Ross looked "shaken up" following the crash.

At present, no arrests have been made or suspects have been named.

Didier Drogba signe à Galatasaray

Chris Brown & Frank Ocean Fight In Los Angeles

Chris Brown and Frank Ocean have exchanged words and disses in the past but tonight things got physical.

According to TMZ, the two artists got into a brawl at Westlake Studio in Los Angeles. It started when Frank Ocean and his crew blocked Chris Brown from leaving the parking lot. 

Chris then went to shake Frank’s hand and was attacked by Frank’s people. Chris’ entourage then joined the melee. Chris then pushed Frank and the two went at it. Finally, police arrived and cleared the scene. Chris Brown was not present when they arrived but they did speak to Frank Ocean. No arrests have been made.

Ocean later shared his own version of the altercation on Twitter, saying he was "jumped."

PSY’s “Gangnam Style” Generated $8 Million in YouTube Ad Revenues

Google has revealed that Psy’s ‘Gangnam Style’ video has generated over $8million (£5million) in ad revenues via YouTube, reports CMU.

The single by Psy – whose real name is Park Jae-Sang – went viral after being put on the site on July 15, 2012 and has broken YouTube’s record for the ‘most liked’ video ever as well as the most-watched video. Psy is also the first Korean artist to bag a UK Number One on the Official Singles Chart.

The copyright owner of videos uploaded to YouTube gets 50 per cent of all revenue made through advertisements, which means that ‘Gangnam Style’ will have earned around £2.5 million, or around 20p per view.

Even US President Barack Obama has said that he is confident he can pull off the dance moves.

‘Gangnam Style’ recently won the Song Of The Year award at the Golden Disk Awards, the Korean equivalent of the Grammys.

Nicolas Anelka rejoint la Juventus

L'ex-international français Nicolas Anelka, 33 ans, a rejoint la Juventus Turin en provenance du club chinois Shanghai Shenhua pour une pige de cinq mois renouvelable, a annoncé ce samedi le directeur général du club italien, Giuseppe Marotta.

"Il y avait une situation d'urgence en attaque, c'est un projet à court terme, nous avons un contrat de cinq mois avec Anelka", a dit Marotta.

"L'accord devrait être officialisé dans quelques jours", a ajouté le dirigeant interrogé par la chaîne Sky Sport.

Anelka a atterri samedi soir dans la capitale du Piémont et s'est dit"content d'être à Turin" aux journalistes italiens qui l'attendaient à l'aéroport.

Anelka quitte la Chine après une expérience d'un an au Shanghai Shenhua et aurait signé pour un salaire d'1,2 millions d'euros sur cinq mois avec la possibilité de prolonger son contrat d'un an, selon La Gazzetta dello sport.

Le champion d'Italie a trouvé le buteur qu'il cherchait après avoir exploré notamment les pistes de l'Ivoirien Didier Drogba, ex-coéquipier d'Anelka à Shanghai ou de l'Argentin de Lyon Lisandro Lopez. La Juve a également essayé de faire venir dès janvier Fernando Llorente, qu'elle a déjà acheté pour le mois de juin à l'Athletic Bilbao.

Antonio Conte, l'entraîneur de la Juventus, voulait un attaquant pour pallier l'insuffisante efficacité de ses buteurs, Sebastian Giovinco (6 buts en Serie A), Alessandro Matri (4) et Fabio Quagliarella (6).

Qualifié pour jouer la Ligue des champions, où les "Bianconeri" rencontrent le Celtic Glasgow en 8e de finale (12 février-6 mars), Anelka devrait être aligné au côté du créateur monténégrin Mirko Vucinic (5 buts).

Il ne devrait pas jouer tout de suite avec la Juve, qui recevait le Genoa samedi soir. "Anelka n'a pas une condition physique excellente, a dit Marotta, il n'a pas joué de matches depuis quelques mois, mais nous le savions quand nous l'avons choisi."

Le joueur s'entraînait depuis quelques semaines avec son club formateur, le PSG.

Lenovo n'exclut pas un rachat de RIM

Alors que le marché du PC connaît un ralentissement, le constructeur chinois Lenovo tente de dynamiser ses activités mobiles et n'exclut pas de racheter Research In Motion.

A l'occasion du forum économique mondial, qui se déroule actuellement à Davos en Suisse, Wong Wai Ming, responsable des opérations financières de Lenovo, se dit prêt à effectuer une acquisition afin de dynamiser ses activités liées à la conception de smartphones. Parmi ces dernières nous retrouvons Research In Motion, le constructeur des smartphones BlackBerry.

« Nous envisageons toutes les possibilités, RIM et plusieurs autres », affirme M. Ming dans un entretien recueilli par le magazine Bloomberg. Lenovo avoue d'ailleurs avoir approché Research In Motion ainsi que ses banques afin de trouver une manière de combiner leurs activités. M. Wong n'a cependant pas souhaité déclarer s'il formulera une proposition de rachat. L'idée semble en tout cas avoir traversé la tête de la direction du groupe. Rappelons qu'en 2005 Lenovo avait racheté la division des ordinateurs portables d'IBM et récupéré la marque emblématique « Thinkpad ».

Parallèlement, Thorsten Heins, le PDG de RIM, affirmait la semaine dernière ne pas exclure la commercialisation de licences de BlackBerry 10 si ce dernier s'avère populaire auprès du consommateur. Ces dernières semaines RIM a su créer un engouement auprès de ses utilisateurs qui attendent la sortie de ce prochain OS prévue pour la fin du mois.

Vado Discusses Forming A Group With Fabolous, Lloyd Banks & Juelz Santana

Vado talks about why he might sign with DJ Khaled and says he discussed forming a group with Lloyd Banks, Juelz Santana and Fabolous.

As Vado begins to generate interest for his new project Slime Flu 3, he continues fielding offers from labels. According to the rapper, he is leaning towards signing withDJ Khaled's We The Best but says nothing has been finalized. He also stopped by The Breakfast Club to talk about how he was going to form a group with Lloyd Banks,Juelz Santana and Fabolous. 

"That's how it's looking but you know there's nothing guaranteed yet," he said of his deal with Khaled. "But that's how it's looking...We've got the same mission and that's going straight to the top. When I had a sit-down with him (DJ Khaled), he was telling me everything I wanted to hear so you know, it was on and poppin'."  

He also shared that there has been interest from T.I. about signing him but that nothing was finalized.

Later in the interview, Vado mentioned a group that he was looking to form. According to Slime, talks began with Lloyd Banks, Juelz Santana and Fabolous about a group.

"To be honest, we spoke on it one time," he explained. "Shout out to Banks. Shout out to Juelz. We was all on a conference call. We was reaching out to Fab. We was trying to get the commission, like a group. We was tryin' to form some superhero type...But you know people got they albums...So we just fell back with it."
